Germans and Italians, the most frequent users of the Girona – Costa Brava airport tourism office.

In 2013 the Girona - Costa Brava airport tourist information office, managed jointly by the Patronat de Turisme Costa Brava Girona and the Agència Catalana de Turisme since 1998, dealt with 77,451 queries from tourists travelling on Ryanair, Transavia and Wizzair flights, according to its annual activity report. By nationality, the largest numbers of users were from Germany (16.81%), Italy (15.51%), the United Kingdom (12.96%) and the rest of Europe (Ukraine, Belarus, Slovenia and Poland, 15.34%). Ninety percent of visitors were here on holiday, followed by those travelling on business or for family reasons. Forty percent of the queries dealt with concerned destinations in Girona province, with a large number relating to tourism services in locations such as Lloret de Mar, Tossa de Mar and Castell-Platja d’Aro.
