Holiday and Travel Shows 2017

The Tourist Board will take part in 45 holiday and travel shows in 2017.

Holiday options in the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees area are to be promoted at 45 holiday and travel trade fairs, 20 of which are generic and 25 sectoral, in 14 different countries. In particular, it will be present at seven new international holiday shows to promote active tourism, cycling, golf and campsites. Three of the new holiday exhibitions in the 2017 campaign have been chosen with the intention of opening up the US and Eastern European markets. These holiday shows may be aimed not only at the general public or exclusively at travel professionals, but may also be a mixture of both, combining days for professionals with days for attending the general public. Girona’s representation at international holiday exhibitions will share stands with Turespaña and the Catalan Tourist Agency or occasionally have its own stand, from which to gain exposure.
