Every year, Barcelona's CETT group hands out the Alimara Awards on the occasion of the SITC (International Tourism Fair of Catalonia) in recognition of the quality and innovation shown in tourism promotion material and of the efforts made by the tourism and hotel sector (public and private) in the dissemination of its resources.
On 19th April, the Patronat de Turisme Costa Brava Girona was handed the 2012 Alimara Award for tourism promotion in the category of state, autonomous community and regional tourism institutions for its marketing, promotion and communication campaign: Blogtrip #InCostaBrava
